Food:
Southern Food:
--Husk: Where Corey worked when he first moved to Nashville. A bit upscale from your normal meat and three.
--Hattie B's Hot Chicken: Need I say more?
--Arnold's Country Kitchen. This is a meat and three and you need to get there early!
BBQ: Martin's BBQ OR Edley's BBQ. You really can't go wrong. We think Martin's has better sides, but Edley's has better wings, but only slightly better!
Mexican:
--Maiz De La Vida Food Truck: best birria tacos you'll ever have!
--Cilantro: our favorite mid week cheap mexican stop.
Others:
--Hugh Baby's: casual burgers and fries (get the chili cheese fries).
--Locust: high end foodie lunch. Elevated, delicious food that your foodie heart will just adore.
--Red Perch: Casual Australian fish chips. Their take on the fillet-o-fish is so simple, yet delicious!
--Xia Bao: The best elevated Asian food in Nashville. Hand pulled noodles, bao buns, etc.
Date Night:
--Henrietta red: approachable yummy food, can't go wrong.
--Rolf and Daughters: PASTA!
Favorite Spots:
Otto's Bar-- great cocktails.
Mother's Ruin-- great night out with friends.
Pins Mechanical-- think baby bowling + arcade games. Fun day time or night time activity with friends.
Puttshack-- indoor mini golf for adults. Super fun and elevated atmosphere. Fun day time or night time activity with friends.
Conveniently located just a mile down the road, you can't miss BROADWAY! From our historic Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, to our new bar from Luke Combs, Category 10, there's truly a bar for everyone! For a TRUE honky tonk experience, you have to go to Robert's Western World and listen to authentic live country music. But wait! That's only 1/2 of it. You then have to order a fried bologna sandwich! Want something a little bit more upscale and more craft cocktails? Head on over to Justin Timberlake's Pushing Daisies. Arguably the best margarita in Nashville, but that's for another topic for a different day.
Locals tip:
--Tootsie's: Enter through their back alley entrance. Yes, that's the Ryman right behind it!
--Robert's: Go up the stairs in the back of the bar, and sit upstairs. Great view!
--Acme: Our first ever rooftop bar! Go there for a beautiful view of the river and get all of broadway into one picture.
--Dierks Bentley, Aldean's, Tin Roof, and Bar Stool is where all the young cool kids go. I don't make the rules.
Right before you hit broadway, you'll see this building on the left hand side of the street called Fifth and Broad. If you choose to drive instead of Uber, this is where you will want to park.
Fifth + Broad offers you anything and everything you need.
First Floor: Apple, Nike, Ariat, Hattie B's Hot Chicken, Sephora, and Twelve Thirty Club.
Second Floor: Made up of about 30 local Nashville's favorite food vendors. There's also about 14 restaurants that you can dine in as well. All of the food options in the building all range from casual burgers and fries all the way to high end seafood towers and cocktails.
Third floor: the Sky Deck entertainment venue. Check online and see who's playing!
The Ryman! Or what we like to call it, The Mother Church! Located directly behind Tootsie's Bar and across from Fifth and Broad!
We highly recommend booking a day time tour and learning about the rich history that the Ryman holds. Although it is currently too early to tell, maybe catch a show on Friday and see what the hype is all about!
Locals tip: The balcony is the best seat, not the ground level!
Country Music Hall of Fame is chock full of amazing exhibitions! If you're looking for the perfect history lesson on country music, this is your destination!
Our brand new, state of the art, Tennessee State Museum! It's interactive, large, and truly offers something for everyone!
Pink dream land! A bar inspired by Dolly, what more could you want? This is a super fun girly experience.
